Health counselling - children up to 6 years
Health counselling and health promotion for families with children by regional health and paediatric nurses
Description
The health department wants to offer you as parents advice and support and ensure that your child gets off to a good start in life. This is why you can receive individual advice from paediatric nurses at home during the first six years of your child's life.
This service is free of charge and voluntary.
Health and paediatric nurses in your district will answer your questions - once or several times, depending on your needs.
We offer counselling on the following topics, for example
- Breastfeeding and nutrition
- Baby care: skin care, umbilical care
- Health care, immunisation
- Preventive check-ups, dental health
- Promoting child development, tips for encouraging and playing Parent-child relationship
- Regulatory disorders, frequent crying, sleep problems
- Safety in everyday life, accident prevention
- Media consumption
- Information about facilities for families with children in your neighbourhood
- If necessary, referral to further help or referral to the "early help" programme up to the age of 3
- There is also the option of telephone counselling via the counselling hotline
If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment, please call us on the counselling hotline or send us an e-mail.
