amiga – Career Centre for Internationals supports international professionals, early-career professionals and students as they start their careers in Munich by providing advice, training and contacts with companies.

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s global cultural and language institute and promotes international exchange in the fields of culture, education and language. It supports the teaching and learning of the German language and fosters dialogue between people and cultures.

The Integration Advice Centre (IBZ) offers refugees and immigrants advice, German language courses and support with entering the labour market and further training.

The Migration Advice Service in Munich provides support centres for migrants who need help settling in and finding their way around. Among other things, it offers advice on residence, language, work, housing and social issues, and helps people find suitable services and further support.
The Münchner Volkshochschule (MVHS) is the City of Munich’s adult education centre. It offers a wide-ranging programme for all Munich residents, from language and basic education courses through to vocational training, as well as courses in culture, politics, health and leisure.

Munich’s Integreat app: a digital guide for new arrivals
How do I find a flat? Where can I find language courses in Munich? Who can I turn to if I’m ill?
The multilingual ‘Integreat’ app is now available to new arrivals in the state capital. The app is free to use and can also be accessed offline. It serves as a compact and comprehensive guide to all matters relating to daily life and settling into city life.
The Integreat app is the City of Munich’s digital Welcome Centre.
