The Technical University of Munich (TUM) and UnternehmerTUM have brought their offerings for start-ups together under one roof at the Entrepreneurship Center on the Garching research campus. At this hub, start-ups and innovators encounter a unique infrastructure within which to develop their new business projects – from initial idea to growth phase. The chairs represented at the TUM Entrepreneurship Research Institutes channel their research findings at the Entrepreneurship Center directly into start-up development. The centerpiece of the facility is the MakerSpace, a 1,500 m2 high-tech workshop equipped with machinery, tools and software for prototype construction and small-batch production.
