Setting up gaming machines

If you want to set up gaming machines with the possibility of winning, you need a commercial licence and confirmation of the suitability of the installation site.

Description

If you wish to set up gaming machines with the possibility of winning, you will need a confirmation of the suitability of the respective installation site in addition to the basic licence.

The district inspectorate responsible for your home address or company headquarters is responsible for issuing the licence.

Required documents

  • Application for a licence under trade law (available from the district inspectorate responsible for your place of residence; if you live outside Munich, the responsible municipality or district office)
  • Application for the suitability of the installation site (available from the district inspectorate in whose area the property is located)
  • Trade licence
  • Extract from the commercial register
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • Information from the central trade register
  • Social concept and proof of mandatory training at the IHK
