The food monitoring department of the district administration department inspects businesses in the city of Munich that produce, store and sell food.

Description

In addition to food and food supplements, the municipal food monitoring organisation is also responsible for monitoring tobacco, electronic cigarettes, cosmetics, toys, cleaning products, glasses, clothing, tableware and over-the-counter medicines.

Registration of food businesses in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs If you run a food business that does not require a trade licence, you can register or deregister it online ator notify us of any changes. This registration obligation applies to storage locations that do not themselves require a trade licence.

Business registration An entry in the commercial register does not replace business registration. You must also register, change or deregister your business with the authorities at.
