Description

Anyone wishing to trade or broker hazardous waste on a commercial basis or as part of a commercial enterprise generally requires a waste licence in accordance with Section 54 of the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG) and the Waste Notification and Licensing Ordinance (AbfAEV).

The authority primarily checks the reliability and expertise of the applicant and the persons authorised to act as dealers or brokers.

Due to a new legal basis, the application forms are currently being revised. Applicants can contact the Department of Health and Environment by telephone or in writing.
