Change of address for identity card, passport, eAT
If you have already registered your new place of residence but the address in your identity document has not yet been updated, you can do so here.
Course description
if you have already registered when you move to Munich or within the city, but your address has not yet been updated in your identity document, you should do so as soon as possible.
The new address on the ID card chip will be updated for the ID card and the electronic residence permit. In addition, a new address sticker is affixed to the back of the ID card.
The passport only shows the place of residence. After moving to Munich, this should be updated in your passport.

Only the following documents can be updated with this service: Identity card, electronic residence permit (eAT) and passport.
You need an appointment to visit the Citizens' Office.
Prerequisites
You have already re-registered at the Citizens Office, but the address has not been changed on all your identity documents.
