Project funding for cultural education

If you are developing projects in the greater Munich area that enable active participation in art and culture, you can apply for this funding.

Description

Funding is provided for temporary projects in which people of all age groups become artistically creative themselves. This includes projects in the fields of dance, music, theatre, visual arts, literature or media. Projects in the fields of political education, education for sustainable development, play, adventure and environmental education can also be applied for, provided that an artistic/cultural aspect plays a central role.

The coordination centre also supports qualification measures in the field of cultural education, such as

  • specialist days designed and organised by the centre itself
  • Training and networking events, especially in the field of inclusion.
  • Training trips (up to 700 euros)

We particularly welcome

  • when different institutions or organisations cooperate with each other
  • when people are specifically addressed who have so far had little access to art and culture
  • when projects are inclusive, diversity-orientated and/or gender-sensitive.

A total of 300,000 euros is available each year.

Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis; please submit funding applications at least 6 weeks before the start of the project.
