Description

You need a German EU driving licence in order to apply for an international driving licence.

If you do not yet have an EU driving licence, you must first exchange your old paper driving licence.

Once you have exchanged it, you can apply for an International Driving Licence .

Processing time

It takes about six weeks before you can collect your card driving licence with the International Driving Permit.
