Finding and retaining international talent

The amiga - Career Center for Internationals offers Munich-based companies access to its talent pool at joint events and promotes networking and recruiting.

Career workshop at Moët Hennessy


Moët Hennessy Deutschland GmbH is the German subsidiary of the largest luxury goods group LVMH "Moët Hennessy ◊ Louis Vuitton". At the Marktplatz Gute Geschäfte a cooperation with amiga was agreed for the workshop "Experts4Expats - career guide for international specialists and young professionals".

The workshop was led by CFO Steffen Seidler, HR Director Wiebke Rowedda and CSR Manager Gaby Spengler. After the CEO's welcome, the dedicated Moët Hennessy team from the Controlling, HR and Accounting departments provided the amiga Internationals with advice and support. The amiga participants came from a total of ten countries - from Taiwan to Ghana and Brazil - and brought with them a high level of professional and industry experience.

Intercultural openness

The participants were particularly impressed by the company's intercultural openness in recruiting: the company has removed perfect German language skills from its job advertisements, supports international employees in learning German on the job and, conversely, offers English courses for company employees.

From career event to recruitment: FELD M

FELD M is an analytical and strategic consultancy for marketing in an increasingly digitalised world. Together with its clients, it develops sustainable communication, sales and product solutions. FELD M works continuously with amiga on employer branding, for example through joint career events and job advertisements in the amiga newsletter.

American Leslie became aware of FELD M at one of the amiga career events. She appreciated the personal atmosphere of the event and the opportunity to talk to the company one-on-one - something that was more difficult at other job fairs, which were very "competitive". She sent her application to FELD M after the event and got the job.  

This is what Leslie really likes about her job:
