Declaration on accessibility according to BayEGovV
Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament obliges public sector bodies to provide barrier-free access to their websites. The following declaration on barrier-free access documents the current state of implementation on this website according to the relevant legislation.
Conformity status
Partial conformity: Some parts of the website’s content do not fully conform to barrier-free standards.
Known problems relating to barrier-free access
List and explanation of the problems in terms of implementing barrier-free access to this website
Content that is not barrier-free
- Foreign-language terms are not always labeled as such.
- Online forms do not highlight errors directly in the relevant field; the time out is not displayed and cannot be adjusted
- With regard to sortability, the elements are only linked to one another textually, not structurally.
- The keyboard focus of the menu lacks contrast in the mobile version.
- Some PDF documents are not barrier-free.
- The M.U.N.I.C.H. video contains flickering content.
- The automatic captions for the M.U.N.I.C.H. video are still incorrect; there is no audio description and no alternative media.
- Headings are not always structured hierarchically; there are empty headings and empty paragraphs.
- Background elements are accessible via the screen reader.
- Alternative text for images or controls is not consistently meaningful and is occasionally incorrect.
- The text scales to the desired 200% font size configured in the browser at a window size of 1280×768 px; however, this compromises the readability and functionality of the digital product.
- Some content does not wrap as expected.
- On some pages, the document title does not adequately describe the general name of the page.
- The page does not yet include sign language information or information in plain language.
Special Features of the "Leerstandsmelder" (Vacancy Report)-Form
- Drop-down lists (fields used to select an entry from a list) may still contain empty list entries.
- Insufficient keyboard navigation. The date picker cannot be operated using the keyboard. If entering data via the keyboard, the date should be entered directly (DD.MM.YYYY).
- Missing link between label and form element
- Content does not wrap as expected.
- Missing labels for graphical user interface elements.
- Missing labels indicating the purpose of user data input fields.
- Labels for user interface elements do not match the accessible names.
Specifics regarding city map views
The following application integrated into the website provides its own accessibility statement and is therefore not covered by this statement:
City map views (Coworking spaces, startup centers) > Accessibility Statement for the site https://geoportal.muenchen.de and city map views of the City of Munich's Geoportal.
Reason
The City of Munich works continuously to improve its website and, due to the amount of material and complexity of the site, it has not yet been able to ensure all content and services are available barrier-free.
