Vehicle change taxi or hire car

If you operate a taxi, excursion, holiday destination or hire car company, you must have your vehicles registered in the licence certificate.

Requirements

  • The vehicle is registered to the new company at its registered office as a taxi or hire car
  • The vehicle is fully equipped as a taxi or hire car and you can present a test report on a technical inspection in accordance with the Ordinance on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Operators in Passenger Transport (BOKraft).

Required documents

  • Identity card or passport
  • Extract from the commercial register
  • Registration certificate, Part I (vehicle registration document) – registration as a taxi or hire car
  • Proof of the general roadworthiness test (no more than one month old)
  • Test report on a technical inspection in accordance with the Regulation on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Enterprises in Passenger Transport (BOKraft) (not older than one month)
  • Licence certificate and extract from the licence certificate
  • Certificate confirming the installation of an EU-compliant TSE-enabled odometer or EU taximeter
