You will receive the following information with the simple trade register enquiry:

- Activity
For additional information, you must be able to credibly demonstrate a legal interest (extended trade register information).

- Start the application
- Enter your personal data or register directly with BundID/BayernID
- Enter details of the business you are looking for
- Select the type of information
- Receive information and invoice online

Questions & Answers
You must prove that you have a legal interest.
Examples of a legal interest:
- Assertion of legal claims
- Reference to services provided by the trader
- Lending to the traders.
Corresponding evidence such as copies of contract documents, invoices and debt or enforcement titles must be submitted.
No, it is also possible to obtain information without registering.
It is quicker with the BundID/BayernID: a simple registration with user name and password is sufficient. You do not need to identify yourself with your ID card, an ID card app or a card reader.
The trade authority can only provide information about the data it has been notified of.
No guarantee can be given for the accuracy and completeness of the data in the trade register.
