Foreign application documents may have to be translated after consultation with the public health department.

A licence to practise medicine limited to the field of physiotherapy does not entitle the holder to use the professional title of alternative practitioner. The use of the professional title "Heilpraktiker*in, beschränkt auf das Gebiet der Physiotherapie" can be recommended as legally unobjectionable.
