If you want to buy a residential property for your own use and have a medium income, we can advise you on the subsidy options offered by the Free State of Bavaria.
Course description
The Bayerische Landesbodenkreditanstalt provides low-interest loans to middle-income households for the purchase of residential property.
Bavarian interest subsidy programme
- Loan amount: 15,000 euros; up to a maximum of 30% of the total costs
- Occupancy commitment: according to the fixed-interest period
- Fixed interest rate: 10 or 15 years
- Repayment: 2% annually plus the interest saved from the 2nd year of the loan term

- The information meeting takes place before the application is submitted.
- You will only receive a list of the necessary application documents during the meeting with us.
- The subsidy can only be applied for before the purchase contract is signed or construction begins!
Prerequisites
- You have a medium income. You can find the current income limits and allowances in this overview.
- The property is located in the Munich city area.
- Your household must have at least 15% of the total costs in equity capital available.
- You must be able to bear the burden of the property purchase in the long term.
- The size of the property must be suitable for your household.
Required documents
- valid reservation of a property for sale in the city of Munich
- Information on purchase price / costs of the property
- Exposé / floor plans of the property
- Information on the amount of available equity
- Proof of income for the last 12 months
