Auction of lost property

The lost property office organises public auctions of unclaimed lost property. The auctions are held in person or online.

Description

Presence auctions:

The dates of the face-to-face auctions are publicised 6 weeks in advance.
All items are auctioned against immediate cash payment without any guarantee as to their condition or completeness.
The type and starting price of the item to be auctioned will be stated at the auction.
Any additional bids must be at least

  • 5 euros (for sums of 1 to 200 euros)
  • 10 euros (for sums of 200 to 300 euros)
  • 20 euros (for sums of 300 to 500 euros)
  • 25 euros (for sums from 500 to 1000 euros)
  • 50 euros (for sums over 1000 euros)

The knockdown is preceded by three calls for the highest bid.
The acceptance of the bid obliges the bidder to take delivery. Upon acceptance of the bid, ownership and risk of the auctioned item are transferred directly to you. You must pay the bid amount immediately in cash and take the auctioned items with you on the day of the auction.
