Driving licence - extension
Anyone who already has a driving licence and wants to take a test for additional categories can apply for an extension of their driving licence.
Course description
If you have passed your driving test for a car or motorbike, Munich's road safety organisation offers driver safety training for a fee as part of its "Experts through experience" campaign. Everything you need to know about this and further information can be found on the Verkehrswacht website.
Important note
Other requirements apply to the extension of a driving licence at 17 (accompanied driving), which are described in detail under the topic "Driving licence at 17".
Prerequisites
You are registered as having your main residence in Munich.
