The Family Pass is offered to all Munich families and families from the districts of Dachau, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Fürstenfeldbruck, Munich and Starnberg.
The Munich Family Pass includes many leisure activities, vouchers and attractive discounts. For example, two vouchers for free admission to an M-pool, valid for one adult and one child (up to the age of 14), as well as many other discounts , including for animal and wildlife parks, dance and music schools, museums and children's shops.
The family pass is valid for two adults and up to four children up to and including the age of 17. Families with more than four children receive a one-off additional family pass free of charge.
The family pass is valid from 1 January to 31 December of the respective year.

What is the Munich Family Pass?
The Munich Family Pass offers promotions, vouchers, discounts and exclusive offers. It is designed to provide families with financial relief in their everyday lives and leisure activities. The Munich Family Pass is part of the "Children and Family Policy Guidelines" of the City of Munich.
How long is the Munich Family Pass valid for?
The Family Pass is valid from 1 January to 31 December inclusive (all year round). For some offers, there are different dates due to play times or seasons. These are noted on the respective coupon.
Where can I get the Munich Family Pass?
Munich families can obtain the Family Pass for 6 euros at many points of sale in Munich. Families from the districts of Fürstenfeldbruck, Dachau, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Munich and Starnberg can purchase the Munich Family Pass in their districts.
Who can buy the Munich Family Pass?
Basically, the Munich Family Pass is issued and financed by the City of Munich for Munich families. Therefore, only families living in Munich can purchase the Munich Family Pass. Exception: The districts of Dachau, Ebersberg, Erding, Freising, Fürstenfeldbruck, Munich and Starnberg participate in the Munich Family Pass. Families from these districts can therefore also purchase and use the Family Pass. These families can only purchase the Munich Family Pass in their districts (or order it online).
How many people can use the Munich Family Pass?
Each Family Pass is valid for two adults and up to four children up to and including the age of 17. The family relationship is not decisive, because "family is where there are children!" Unless otherwise stated, at least one adult must take part in an offer together with at least one child.
Can large families also use the Munich Family Pass?
Families with more than four children of their own can obtain an additional free family pass once at the City Youth Welfare Office (Elisenhof), Luitpoldstr. 3, room no. 3002 (Infothek).
What does the term family mean?
For the City of Munich, family is always where there are children! The term "family" includes single parents, families with foster children and grandparents with grandchildren as well as same-sex partnerships with children.
How do I use the Munich Family Pass?
The Family Pass, which can be detached from the cover, must be presented for all offers. Vouchers that are valid once are labelled with a "scissors" symbol. Furthermore, unless otherwise stated on the coupon, the vouchers may only be redeemed directly at the cash desk from this brochure in order to retain their validity. A refund or cash payment of unused vouchers is not possible. Prices of individual providers are subject to change.
How can I register for events?
You can register for an event within a certain period, the exact dates can be found in the respective event. After the deadline, places will be allocated by lottery.
How were the participating companies selected?
We asked the entire city to send us their wishes and offers and then tried to get the companies and institutions mentioned to take part. We succeeded in many cases. Over the years, we have found numerous new companies. The selection is also based on ecological aspects and is generally the responsibility of the City of Munich. We would like to thank all our co-operation partners for their friendly support.
