Investment support for outpatient care services

As an outpatient care service, you can receive investment support in accordance with the guidelines and the budget funds available.

Description

Purpose and amount of funding

The investment promotion programme is intended to help ensure that Munich has a needs-based and efficient care infrastructure and that outpatient care facilities are supported. The Social Welfare Committee of the City of Munich provides an annual budget of EUR 3,665,718.00 for this funding programme.

Object of the funding programme

Eligible for funding are operationally necessary investment expenses, such as office equipment, care cases, work clothing, company vehicles and costs for rent or lease. The expenditure incurred must be clearly attributable to the operation of the care service. Section 82 (2) nos. 1 and 3 SGB XI regulates which investments are considered necessary for operations. The maximum amounts up to which the City of Munich recognises investments can be found in the list of maximum amounts.

Prerequisites

Care services that provide care to Munich residents within the scope of SGB XI (Social Code Book Eleventh) and have a care contract in accordance with § 72 SGB XI can apply for funding.

Information on the funding requirements, type and scope of funding, eligibility and application procedure can be found in the funding guidelines (see below).

The application and Annexes 1 and 2 must be submitted by

31.03. of the funding year by post

the City of Munich at the latest. Annex 3 must be submitted by 31 July of each year.

  • Staffing levels for nursing staff in June (Annex 1 A)
  • Staffing levels for nursing staff in December (Annex 1 B)
  • Material resources (Annex 2)
  • Revenue overview of the previous year (Annex 3)
  • Evidence such as payroll journals, invoices

Anyone who provides or offers reserved activities in care in return for payment must notify the responsible health authority immediately.

As a fully inpatient care facility, you can receive funding for supervision, further education and training.

Investment support for full inpatient/short-term care

As a full inpatient facility or short-term care facility, you can receive investment funding for new construction, conversion and modernisation measures.

Investment support for day-care centres

Structures are to be created through investment funding so that needs-based care for Munich residents in need of care is possible.

Promotion of in-house day care

As a full inpatient care facility, you can receive a personnel cost subsidy for a specialist for in-house day care in accordance with the guidelines.

Start-up funding for innovative outpatient care services

Projects for residential care communities, residential groups for people with disabilities and innovative forms of care are financially supported in the start-up phase.
