Description

The information covers registration certificates for financed vehicles, which are sent to the registration authority by the leasing or financing banks and the dealers.

As soon as we have received and recorded these, you can use this information.

This information only concerns registration certificates Part 2 (ZBII) that have not been issued to you. These must be sent to the "Zulassungsbehörde, Eichstätterstr. 2, 80686 München". Processing by one of the citizens' offices is not possible.

Required documents

  • for a brand-new vehicle, the ZBII number (registration certificate part II)
  • in the case of a previously registered vehicle, the previous licence plate number or the ZBII number

You can obtain the previous licence plate number or the ZBII number from your lessor or your dealer.
