Course description
if you have lost the business registration (registration, re-registration or deregistration) for your business in Munich or need a current confirmation, you can apply to us for a duplicate.
This is how the application works:
You can apply for a duplicate of the business registration informally by e-mail or in person on site by making an appointment.
Prerequisites
If you have relocated the registered office of your business within Munich, expanded or changed the area of activity or changed your name since the last registration, a business re-registration is required instead of a duplicate.

Yes, please make an appointment directly online for a personal appointment.
Please bring your ID/passport and, if applicable, a declaration of loss issued by the police with you to the appointment.
No, representation by an authorised representative is possible. An informal power of attorney with identification of the person granting the power of attorney and the authorised representative is sufficient. When applying by e-mail, please attach this evidence.
In the case of partnerships (e.g. BGB companies, OHG, KG), each partner authorised to manage the company (also individually) can apply for the duplicate as a trader.
In the case of legal entities (e.g. GmbH, AG), the obligation to apply lies with the legal representatives (e.g. managing director of a GmbH).
As soon as there are changes in your company, a duplicate is no longer possible.

Please inform us informally by e-mail of any voluntary and sensible changes, such as a change of managing director, a switch from a sideline to a main occupation or the partial discontinuation of existing activities.
In principle, it is possible to come in person after making an appointment.
When applying for a duplicate travelling trade licence, please always make an appointment for a personal visit.
