In urgent emergencies, you can contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency using the online form. You will need to provide the relevant supporting documents.

This online form is intended solely for urgent emergencies.
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency will check your details and decide whether your enquiry can be dealt with as an emergency. If there is insufficient evidence of an emergency, your enquiry will be processed in the normal way.
Requirements
An urgent emergency arises, for example, if
- you are at risk of losing your job, or
- you urgently need a replacement document because of an imminent journey
Required documents
You must provide suitable evidence to substantiate your emergency, for example:
- Confirmation from your employer
- Travel confirmation or travel tickets
