Playground equipment hire

Private individuals, schools, kindergartens, clubs, non-profit organisations and companies can borrow play equipment and toys from the Department of Education and Sport.

Description

Booking

You can book the play equipment via our online service. Please note the data protection regulations for the online form. If you do not want your personal data to be collected online, you can also fill in the order form (under "Forms & Links") and send it to us by post or e-mail.

Once your order has been processed, we will let you know within three weeks at the latest whether the desired toy is still available. You will receive a booking confirmation with details of the exact collection and return times.

From 7 to 30 August there will be no rental due to low demand and holiday periods. After that we will be there for you again as usual.

Collection and return

Please make an appointment directly with the FreizeitSport team using the contact details below. The play equipment must be collected from and returned to Sachsenstraße 2. You must load and unload the equipment yourself. Two people are required to collect and return the small and medium-sized bouncy castle, the carrier slide, the goal wall and the streetball equipment.

If the play equipment is not collected by you without prior notification or is not returned on time, we reserve the right to charge you a cancellation fee or processing fee of 15 percent of the rental fee - but at least ten euros.

You will receive the reserved toys and the play trailer in a usable and roadworthy condition. After we have handed over the play equipment, you must check the equipment yourself for roadworthiness. If, in your opinion, there are any doubts regarding the functionality and safety, the play equipment or trailer may not be used until the matter has been clarified. You must report this to FreizeitSport immediately. This also applies if, during use, there are indications that the play equipment is not functional or safe to use.

Cancellation and alternative date

If your event is cancelled, you can cancel the reservation before the agreed collection date without incurring any charges. You will be charged for any equipment that has already been collected.

If your event is cancelled or postponed, please contact us as soon as possible. If necessary, we can arrange an alternative date with you.

Prerequisites

To borrow play equipment or toys, a business partner must be specified. To do this, you must specify the legal entity and an association register number, commercial register number or, in the case of private individuals, the date of birth.
