Subsidy for school social work at vocational nursing school

Course description

On 29 November 2023, the Munich City Council approved funding for Munich vocational schools for nursing. The aim is to avoid premature termination of training, to strengthen trainees for their future profession and to support them until they enter the profession.

Due to various factors, the challenges facing trainees are particularly high at the start of their training. School social work is available to provide them with individual support in the event of uncertainty or crises.

The vocational schools for nursing and nursing assistance in Munich can receive a subsidy for the position of school social worker. Further details are set out in the guidelines. Funding is subject to application and deadlines.

Please use the application form provided. The application must be received by the City of Munich (by post or fax) by 31 March of the funding year at the latest (cut-off deadline). Submit the application by 31 March even if the position(s) has/have not yet been filled.
