Taxi and hire car complaints

If you have had a bad experience with a taxi or hire car, you can file a complaint with the taxi office.

Description

For taxi journeys, you can also contact the professional associations of taxi drivers.

If the taxi or hire car does not turn up when ordered, you must contact the relevant booking centre directly. As the dispatch centres are not subject to our official supervision, we have no legal means of sanctioning this. Misbehaviour by drivers in road traffic (e.g. tailgating, tailgating, insulting, incorrect parking) can only be prosecuted by the police.

Please use the taxi complaint form.
Please have the following information about your complaint ready:

  • Vehicle registration number
  • Licence number of the taxi (if known)
