Account clarification

If you live or work in Munich, you can contact the KVR insurance office to clarify your account.

Description

When clarifying an account, we check whether all the information about the insured person' s pensionable periods is actually available to their pension insurance institution. Many periods are automatically transmitted to the pension insurance institution.

Nevertheless, there are often some gaps in the insurance biography. For example, you may have to apply separately for periods of schooling or child-raising to be recognised.

It can also happen that errors occur during data transmission and the data is therefore not saved in the account. It is also possible that periods prior to 1972 have not yet been saved, as there was no automatic data transfer at that time.

The purpose of an account clarification is to ensure that the pension insurance institution receives your complete insurance biography. Insured persons can only find out from clarified accounts what they can expect to receive as a pension in the future.

Due to changes in the law, it may make sense to have your account clarified again, even if you only had it checked a few years ago.

Account clarification is only possible by appointment!

At your appointment, we will complete the application forms online and forward them directly to the relevant pension provider. This ensures quick, prompt and complete processing by the pension provider.

Questions & Answers

Yes, gaps in your insurance account are not automatically closed by the pension provider (as a rule, there is no data exchange!). To complete your insurance history, you need an account clarification.
