Women's night taxi

Women are financially supported by a voucher system for taxi journeys between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. in Munich.

Description

The voucher scheme provides financial support to women* for night-time taxi journeys in Munich. Between 10 pm and 6 am, women* can redeem a voucher worth ten euros per journey, provided the destination is a residential address. One voucher may be presented per journey. This also applies if several women share a taxi.

The ‘Women* Night Taxi’ vouchers are available at all branches of the Citizens’ Office of the City of Munich (Rupperstraße, Leonrodstraße, Scheidplatz, Forstenrieder Allee, Orleansplatz and Pasing).

One voucher is issued per visit upon presentation of a student ID, school pupil ID, severely disabled/handicapped card, pensioner’s ID, or a München-Pass, or an IHK trainee card. The new blue vouchers are valid until 30 September 2027 and can be redeemed in taxis until that date.

Important note

Important note
