Traffic offences during the probationary period

Have you committed a traffic offence and have a probationary driving licence? Here you will find everything you need to know!

Description

General information

When a driving licence is acquired for the first time, it is issued on probation - with the exception of categories AM, L and T. The probationary period lasts two years.

During the probationary period, novice drivers are subject to special rules designed to counteract the high risk of accidents. If the novice driver does not prove themselves during the probationary period, the driving licence authority must take certain measures.

If you have any further questions about the process, you can contact us in writing.

Prerequisites

With you was:

  • an order to attend an advanced training seminar
  • a written warning combined with the recommendation to take part in traffic psychology counselling within two months
  • a withdrawal of your driving licence

is ordered.
