Promotion of further and advanced training (inpatient care)

As a fully inpatient care facility, you can receive funding for supervision, further education and training.

Description

Further education and training courses that are required to impart, expand, deepen and further develop the specific expertise of professional carers as well as supervision are eligible for funding.

The areas of support are reviewed and redefined annually. All measures are also eligible for funding as online seminars. For example, the following are eligible for funding

  • Basic hygiene training (IfSG)
  • End-of-life care
  • Pain management
  • Prevention of violence in nursing care
  • Work organisation models, for example primary nursing
  • Culturally sensitive / transcultural / diversity-sensitive care
  • German courses
  • Practical guidance for generalist nursing training
  • IfSG hygiene officer (minimum standard: 40 hours)
  • Gerontopsychiatric specialist for nursing and care
  • Palliative care for professional carers
  • Supervision

The funding can only be paid out after the programme has been completed and the complete documentation has been submitted.

Prerequisites

All full inpatient care facilities within the meaning of § 71 Para. 2 of the German Social Code XI - Social Care Insurance (SGB XI) - that have a care contract in accordance with § 72 SGB XI, provide their services in the city of Munich and fulfil the requirements in accordance with the guidelines are eligible.

Applications (with original signature) and the required evidence must be received by the City of Munich in writing (by post, fax) before the start of the measure in the current calendar year.

Start-up funding for innovative outpatient care services

Projects for residential care communities, residential groups for people with disabilities and innovative forms of care are financially supported in the start-up phase.
