Paternity disputes
If you are excluded from representing your child, the City Youth Welfare Office can be appointed as a supplementary guardian to contest paternity.
Description
Paternity can only be contested via the family court. As part of these court proceedings, the Munich Youth Welfare Office can be appointed by the court as a supplementary guardian. This is usually the case if the father and/or mother are excluded by law from representing the child in parentage matters.
As a supplementary guardian, the Munich Youth Welfare Office represents the minor child in court. Certain details and information are required for the proper and correct representation of the child.
