Women's night taxi

Women are financially supported by a voucher system for taxi journeys between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. in Munich.

Course description

The voucher system provides women* with financial support for a night-time taxi ride in Munich. Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., women* can redeem a voucher worth ten euros per journey, with the destination being a residential address. One voucher can be submitted per journey. This also applies if several women use a taxi together.

The Women*'s Night Taxi vouchers are available at all locations of the City of Munich Citizens' Office (Rupperstraße, Leonrodstraße, Scheidplatz, Forstenrieder Allee, Orleansplatz and Pasing).

One voucher is issued per visit on presentation of a student, pupil, severely disabled, pensioner or pensioner ID card or a Munich Pass or a trainee card or IHK. The new orange vouchers are valid until 30 September 2026 and can be redeemed in taxis until this date.

The issue of the new vouchers is expected to start at the end of September. The exact start date will be announced on this website.

Prerequisites

The Frauen*-Nacht-Taxi is aimed at women*. This includes trans* women and women with the gender entry "diverse" or non-binary women.

Please note:

The offer applies to women* travelling alone or in a group of women* or with their children (under the age of 18).

In the event that the taxi driver does not accept the voucher, the woman can submit the completed original voucher together with the taxi receipt to the district administration department.

The green Frauen*-Nacht-Taxi vouchers currently in circulation with a validity date of 31 December 2025 can still be redeemed until the end of 2025.
