Parking permit for commercial agencies

Sales representatives who need to transport heavy objects for presentations to customers can apply for an exemption permit for parking.

Description

New applicationIf you need a vehicle to transport heavy objects for your work as a commercial agent, you can apply for a special permit. Up to three vehicles can be entered in the parking permit.

When using the parking permit, proof of employment must be clearly displayed in the vehicle.

TransferIf a vehicle or licence plate number changes, a transfer of the parking permit for the remaining term can be applied for.

ExtensionYou should apply for an extension approximately 6 weeks before your parking licence expires. Again, we require a complete application. Unfortunately, automatic renewal is not possible.

Please note that we cannot give you the parking permit even if you come to us in person.

Prerequisites

You have heavy and/or bulky sample cases, samples that you present during customer visits and cannot transport on foot.

Required documents

You must upload the following documents for the online application (new application or renewal).

  • Proof of activity as a commercial agent
  • For each vehicle: copy of the registration certificate part I (vehicle registration document)

You must upload the following documents for an online application for a change of registration.

  • Per vehicle: Copy of the registration certificate part I (vehicle licence)
  • > Picture of completely torn through current parking licence

Duration & Costs

Processing time

If all the necessary documents are submitted, the application will generally be processed within three working days of receipt. If you submit your application online, we will send you an application confirmation by e-mail immediately after your application has been processed, which will be tolerated by the supervisory staff for a maximum of one week.

Fees

  • valid for 3 months: 90 Euro
  • valid for 6 months: 180 Euro
  • valid for 12 months: 360 Euro
  • valid for 24 months: 720 euros

When registering a fixed licence plate for purely battery electric vehicles (fee reduction):

  • valid for 12 months: 30 euros

If you apply for several parking permits at the same time, the fee for the second permit or additional permits will be reduced by 15 euros each.

Rewriting a parking permit for the remaining term: 10 euros

Payment methods available

Questions & Answers

The reduced fee is only possible if several applications are made at the same time and this reduces the time and effort required for checking. However, if a further permit is subsequently required, a new inspection - at the regular administrative fee - is necessary.

The parking permit is only valid for parking at the place of work during working hours.
