Parking permit for commercial residents

New applicationIfyou are based in a parking licence area with a business, trade or as a freelancer, you can apply for a parking permit for commercial residents. Only one commercial parking permit is issued per trade or business. As a rule, this does not contain a licence plate number and can therefore be used by different people. Self-employed freelancers (e.g. doctors or lawyers) can each apply for their own parking permit.

Please note:
Parking permits for commercial residents cannot generally be issued for the "Altstadt" and "Hauptbahnhof" parking licence areas.

Extension Please submit a new application in good time before the expiry date.

Please note that we cannot give you a parking permit even if you come to us in person

Prerequisites

• The shop, business or company is demonstrably established in a licence area
• There is no private parking facility available.

Required documents

You must upload the following documents for the online application.

• Proof (e.g. rental agreement, telephone or electricity bill) that you have a commercial establishment in the licence area.

• For freelancers, additional suitable proof of non-dependent freelance activity (e.g. proof from the tax office of freelance activity or extract from the partnership register/ articles of association, etc.)
• For non-profit organisations, additional proof of non-profit status
