Promotion in the field of fine arts
Munich artist groups that organise joint exhibitions or art events can apply for funding for their projects.
Course description
The Department of Culture of the City of Munich supports exhibition projects and events organised by groups of artists and artistic initiatives in the Greater Munich area. The focus, in terms of both concept and implementation, should be on the visual arts. In addition to artistic quality, the level of cooperation amongst project participants and the public impact of the project in question are decisive factors in determining whether funding is granted. Funding is primarily provided for fees, material and production costs, but may also cover venue hire, as well as expenses for preliminary research and organisation, set-up and dismantling, technical support and public relations.
