Commissioning of an official medical report
As a public authority or public institution, you can commission us to carry out medical examinations of your Munich employees.
Description
We offer medical reports on the following issues:
Civil servants:
- Civil service on revocation, probation or for life
- Fitness for duty, retirement, convalescence, rehabilitation and reintegration
- Compulsory reductions in teaching hours for teachers
- Accidents at work
Employees covered by collective agreements(TVöD Section 3 (3) and TV-L Section 3 (5))
- Recruitment examinations
- Immediate fitness for work examination (in this context also questions on reduced earning capacity and, if applicable, rehabilitation options)
In the Health Certificate Administration Regulation (GesZVV), Annex 1, you will find a detailed list of the types of certificates issued by the health authorities (lower health authorities) in Bavaria.
The more precisely the orders are formulated, the more accurately we can prepare the expert opinion.
Prerequisites
You are
- an authority of the City of Munich, the Free State of Bavaria or the Federal Government,
- an institution, foundation or corporation under public law.
In the case of employers with other legal forms, we can check on a case-by-case basis whether a contractually regulated cooperation is possible, provided this is in the public interest.
Required documents
You must authorise us in writing. Very urgent orders can also be faxed to us in advance. In order to process the investigation request, we require the following information about the employees concerned:
- Surname, first name, date of birth and address
- Telephone number for any rescheduled appointments (the appointment itself is made in writing)
- Information on any absences due to holidays, work commitments or inpatient treatment
- Details of the speciality of the doctor who issued the certificate of incapacity for work.
We will be happy to send you a brief summary including possible formulation templates on request.
Questions & Answers
No. However, we do need the speciality of the doctor writing the sick note for the assignment, as the speciality is taken into account when assigning the medical examiners.
We have specialists from various disciplines in our department, such as psychiatry, orthopaedics, surgery, internal medicine/oncology/gastroenterology, general medicine and radiology. This means that most questions can be dealt with directly in-house. An additional external assessment is only required in very rare cases with very specialised questions.
These are so-called form reports. This means that the questions we are asked are answered in compliance with medical confidentiality. Against this background, it is necessary to formulate the questions precisely in order for the report to be meaningful.
In principle, the report is sent to the client. In justified exceptional cases, the report can be sent to the person being examined. The commissioning body will then be informed of the dispatch.
