Course description

Creative activities, guided tours, sports, action, technology or nature - extensive offers for children and young people aged 6 to 17, regardless of where they live.

The Munich Holiday Pass is for all children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17 who want to spend their holidays in Munich and the surrounding area, and children and young people who do not live in Munich and the surrounding area can also purchase this pass. It is valid during all Bavarian school holidays - from the autumn holidays to the last day of the summer holidays.

It offers tips for exciting activities in and around Munich at free or greatly reduced prices. The holiday pass is a small booklet of vouchers in which numerous vouchers can be torn out (for example, five vouchers for free admission to one of the M swimming pools, two vouchers for free admission to Hellabrunn Zoo and much more). The holiday pass also gives all children and young people aged 6 to 17 free admission to the outdoor pools during the Whitsun and summer holidays.

In addition, the Holiday Pass entitles children and young people up to and including the age of 14 to unlimited travel on MVV public transport in zones M to 6 during the summer holidays.

The holiday pass also comes with a digital information booklet containing all the offers.

The Munich Holiday Pass is the basis for participation in the one-day adventure trips.

The services offered by the City Youth Welfare Office are intended exclusively for private use. Group bookings by organisations are therefore not possible.

We issued a city-wide call for suggestions and offers and subsequently sought to encourage the named companies and institutions to take part. We were successful in many cases. Over the years, numerous new companies have come on board. The selection process takes environmental considerations into account, amongst other factors, and is generally the responsibility of the City of Munich. We would like to thank all our partners for their kind support.

The holiday pass is a voluntary service provided by the youth welfare service.
