Authorisation under immission control law - amendment

Changes to the location, nature or mode of operation of an installation requiring authorisation under the Federal Immission Control Act must be reported in good time.

Description

The Department of Health and the Environment must be notified in writing of any changes to the location, nature or mode of operation at least one month before implementation if the changes may have an impact on the protected goods.

A list of installations can be found in the Annex to the Ordinance on Installations Subject to Authorisation (4th BImSchV).

Required documents

Applicants receive a checklist on which the documents to be submitted are labelled.

Please note:
Early contact can help to avoid delays. Procedural issues, detailed application documents required and the need for an environmental impact assessment in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (UVPG) can be discussed before the application is submitted.

Processing time

4 weeks after submission of the complete application documents.

Fees

The amount of the notification fee is calculated on the basis of the list of costs, taking into account the administrative costs. The maximum fee is 2,500 euros.
