Reporting faults in street lighting

Have you discovered a fault with a street lamp or traffic light? Then please report your observation to us using the contact details provided.

Description

If you notice a fault or technical problem with a street lamp or traffic light, you can report it via the ‘Bei Anruf Licht!’ helpline, by email or online at machmuenchenbesser.de.

When reporting the issue, please always provide as precise a location as possible, as well as the pole number of the street lamp or traffic light. The pole number is located on the pole of the street lamp or traffic light. It is very helpful to include the name of the street and house number, or the names of the intersecting streets.

General enquiries regarding street lighting and traffic lights are handled by the Civil Engineering Department, Street Lighting and Traffic Control Division.
