Carrier selection process for daycare centre buildings

The date of receipt by the City of Munich applies. Organisations that have missed this deadline can no longer apply.

Prerequisites

If you take over a daycare centre as part of a provider selection process, the funding requirements according to the BayKiBiG and AVBayKiBiG and all additional requirements of the Munich daycare centre funding must be fully and permanently fulfilled.

• An application for the Munich daycare centre subsidy must be submitted when a provider contract is concluded.
• The provider is obliged to prioritise meeting local needs in terms of admission and management.
• The amount of the operating cost subsidy is based on the Munich daycare centre subsidy. (subsidy guidelines, as amended from time to time)
• Places for children with disabilities must be offered in all types of daycare centres for joint funding.
• The initial allocation of existing daycare centre places is carried out by the daycare centre parent advisory service of the Department of Education and Sport. This can demand that kindergarten places in new facilities are prioritised for two-year-olds as part of the initial allocation.
• the providers may not reduce the number of places they already offer in the respective city district.
• the transfer is free of lease and rent.
