Promotion in the field of fine arts

Munich artist groups that organise joint exhibitions or art events can apply for funding for their projects.

Description

The Cultural Department of the City of Munich supports exhibition projects and events by artists' groups and initiatives in the greater Munich area. The focus should be on the visual arts in terms of concept and realisation. In addition to the artistic quality, the degree of cooperation between the project participants and the public impact of the respective project are decisive for possible funding. Funding is primarily provided for fees, material and production costs, but may also cover room costs and expenses for research and organisation in advance, set-up and dismantling, technology and public relations work.
