Municipal school hostels and educational centres

If you are looking for a school camp for your school, group or club, you can find out more and register here.

Description

Would you like to teach your class or course outside the classroom? If so, our municipal school camps offer many different ways of combining curriculum-based lessons with varied leisure activities.

Our school country homes are complementary places of learning and education where the social skills between teachers, trainers and pupils are strengthened and social interaction is intensified. Depending on the facilities of the centres, different educational focuses can be set, such as

  • Experiential education, such as various excursions, visits to the Bio-Top or laboratory
  • Musical and artistic activities, such as piano or various musical instruments
  • Theatre and drama
  • Sports and health facilities, such as football pitches, hiking trails, sports equipment or a lido
  • Media equipment, such as interactive whiteboards or laptops

Please note, however, that each school camp has its own individual facilities.

Registration is possible all year round, subject to availability.
Schools, groups, clubs, day-care centres, nurseries and day-care centres that are not based in Munich can also use the Schullandheime.

Prerequisites

The school country homes can be used by institutions with an educational mission (such as schools, groups, clubs, day-care centres, after-school care centres and day-care centres).
