Leaf removal on public traffic areas

Owners of properties located outside the Mittlerer Ring and the core area of Pasing must take care of leaf removal themselves.

Description

Responsibility for leaf removal on public roads is governed by the Munich Road Cleaning and Safety Ordinance (Münchner Straßenreinigungs- und -sicherungsverordnung).

In the full access area (roughly the area within the Mittlerer Ring and the core area of Pasing), the City of Munich is responsible for street cleaning and therefore also for leaf removal.

Outside the full access area, the property owners are obliged to clean the pavement, the parking bays, the cycle paths and the road including the gutter up to the centre of the carriageway, i.e. to remove the leaves accordingly.
