Description

Submitting an application

If you have submitted your application by post or online, you will receive a confirmation with your individual processing number after it has been entered in our system. It may take a few weeks to process your application. A confirmation of receipt for your postal application cannot be issued.

If you apply in person, you will receive the processing number directly on site.

You can use the processing number to track your processing status on the Internet

Subsequent submission of documents

If you need to submit additional documents, sending them digitally via our contact form will simplify processing.

Changes to applications

Changes to applications include, among other things

  • Change of driving school
  • Change of key numbers (for example, changing the test from manual to automatic)
  • Name changes
  • Change in the scope of the class
  • Change of test location

Please note that we are unable to respond to enquiries about the receipt of your application or the exact processing status within the specified processing time for the respective service.

For changes to applications for the initial issue or extension of a driving licence and the transfer of a foreign driving licence, you can complete and send in the change application. For changes to other applications, please send us a message using our contact form.

The change of driving school must be reported to the driving licence office. You must complete and submit a change application form. Please note that the change application is subject to a fee.
