Transcript of the driving licence data

The file card transcript is a certificate of the driving licence data (driving licence class) that is registered about you with the driving licence authority.

Description

If you require a copy of the index card, please send us the following personal details by post, fax or e-mail:

  • Surname
  • former surnames (maiden name or married name)
  • First name (indicate all first names)
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth
  • Address of the driving licence authority now responsible for you.

The copy of the licence card will then be sent directly to this authority free of charge.

If you have changed your German driving licence to a foreign one and now live in Germany again, you must exchange your driving licence back.
