Processing time

Unfortunately, there are currently extended processing times for the submission and processing of applications for maintenance advances. Due to a high volume of applications and staff shortages, it currently takes around three months to process applications. You can help us process your applications more quickly by submitting the ‘Required Documents’ listed on this page, together with the fully completed application form, when you submit your application. To enable us to focus on processing your applications, we ask that you refrain from enquiring about the status of your application during the first three months. However, in urgent cases, you can still contact us directly via email.

Fees and charges

There are no fees.
