Inclusion contact points

Advice and networking in the neighbourhood on the topics of accessibility and participation of people with disabilities.

Description

The inclusion contact points are contact points, initiators and "caretakers" for the topic of inclusion in their neighbourhood. Their tasks are:

  • They pay attention to accessibility and inclusion in the neighbourhood and contribute their observations to the Regsam structures or other committees.
  • They are available and approachable for organisations in the district.
  • They advise associations/projects/institutions on specific issues or refer them to competent bodies, e.g. the coordination office for the implementation of the UN CRPD.
  • They are socially networked and have a firm connection to the Regsam structures.
  • They maintain contact and work together with the disability representative of the district committees and with central institutions (disability advisory council, advisory group, coordination office).
  • The contact points are combined with low-threshold individual counselling on everyday issues

Prerequisites

The inclusion contact and networking centres are open to all people, regardless of origin, skin colour, religion, education, disability, sexual and gender orientation or social status.
