The municipal youth welfare office is looking for foster parents

Sometimes it is better for parents and their children if the children live with foster parents for a certain period of time or permanently and the parents are supported in organising their lives. The Munich Youth Welfare Office is looking for families who are willing to take in children.

We will support you!

The Munich Youth Welfare Office prepares all foster parents for their task. Whilst the foster child is living with you, the specialists will be at your side. You can also attend seminars, themed afternoons and groups via an extensive training programme.
All foster parents receive a foster care allowance, graduated according to the age of the child or young person.

A monthly information evening is organised to provide comprehensive information to interested future foster parents. The information evening is non-binding and free of charge. The information evenings will take place digitally via the Webex video conferencing platform up to and including September. From October onwards, the information evenings will take place in person. You will receive the venue when you register.
