Contribution reimbursement from pension insurance
If you would like to apply for a premium refund, you can make an appointment in person.
Description
- Contribution refunds can be used to repay pension insurance contributions paid to insured persons or their surviving dependants - upon application. A refund of contributions is generally possible for civil servants who are already in a civil servant position for life if they have paid contributions to the statutory pension insurance scheme but have not yet fulfilled the general waiting period.
- We will complete the application forms at your appointment and forward them directly to the relevant pension insurance provider. This ensures prompt and complete processing by the pension insurance provider.
Prerequisites
You must live or work in Munich.
Required documents
- Identity card or passport
- Insurance history or pension information
- Bank details including IBAN and BIC (see bank statement)
- for civil servants: appointment certificates
- Tax identification number
Further documents by arrangement. You can also submit missing documents later.
You should submit the original documents. We will make the necessary copies and also notarise them - both free of charge!
If you are unable to attend in person, a person authorised in writing can submit the application on your behalf.
