Equipment and programme

Playground equipment, food sales, tombola, event technology and fireworks: this is how you can wow your guests.

Program items for your event

  • Register tombola

    Anyone wishing to organise a raffle in public requires a permit. In a raffle, chances to win prizes are sold for a fee (raffle ticket).

  • Register sale of goods in favour of charitable causes

    Anyone wishing to sell goods temporarily on public land for a charitable purpose requires a special use permit.

  • Playground equipment hire

    Private individuals, schools, kindergartens, clubs, non-profit organisations and companies can borrow play equipment and toys from the Department of Education and Sport.

  • Register fireworks (pyrotechnics)

    Anyone wishing to buy and set off private fireworks for a special occasion (e.g. birthday, anniversary) requires a licence.

  • Flying lanterns, tea lights and balloons

    You may release up to 500 balloons without authorisation. It is forbidden to release lanterns or tea lights throughout Bavaria.
