Filming authorisation - Municipal cemeteries

Commercial film and photo shoots in the municipal cemeteries are authorised on request.

Description

In principle, the photographs can be authorised if the dignity of the cemetery and the anonymity of the deceased are preserved.

Required documents

Informal application with the following details:

  • Name of the cemetery, building, grave field, grave
  • Scene description or script extract (must be in writing)
  • Duration of the filming
  • Cemetery's own equipment (e.g. decoration)
  • Grave opening
  • Cemetery staff
  • Effort and expense (may need to lay tracks for cameras)

If an open grave is required for the filming, only unoccupied graves may be used in consultation with the local cemetery administration (no grave utilisation).
